Jazz in June Scholarship Reception – National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division

June 8, 2017, firm attorneys Courtney McDonnell, Patrick McDonnell, Anna Darpino, Justin Bettis and Taisha Tolliver attended the Jazz in June Scholarship Reception  for the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division (WLD), Philadelphia Chapter held at the African American Museum in Philadelphia.  For  35 years, WLD has worked to improve and enhance the opportunities for African American Women in the legal profession. In an effort to support African American Women  in the legal profession, each year the WLD  awards up to six Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Scholarships and one Justice Juanita Kidd Stout Tuition Scholarship to law students in the Philadelphia area. The 2017 recipients were Maya Brown and Jasmine C. Greene respectively.  Both Maya and Jasmine are currently attending Temple University Beasley School of Law. Firm attorney Daniella Price (pictured at the podium) is the current President of the WLD and was a past recipient of the Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Fund Scholarship in 2014.  We are proud to have Daniella as part of our team and to support the WLD in its efforts to support African American Women in the legal profession.
